BANGOR – Mildred “Millie” Spaulding, 83, died May 28, 2012, at a Bangor health care facility. She was born Aug. 3, 1927, in Bangor, daughter of Edward and Jasmine (Wade) Connelly.
Millie worked in a war uniform factory in New Jersey during World War II. She worked for many years at Pine Tree Restaurant, Bangor. Millie was a kind, loving, caring woman with a great sense of humor.
She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Owen Spaulding. Mildred is survived by two sons, Leon Spaulding and wife, Marlee, of Hermon, and Gary Spaulding of Bangor; daughter, Paula Davis of New York; five grandchildren, Jennifer, Kristy, Casey, Benjamin and Jeremiah; and seven great-grandchildren. The family thanks the staff at Ross Manor for all their kindness and excellent care of Millie. She considered them her family.
