ELLSWORTH – Ralph E. Allen Sr., 84, went home to be with his Lord, May 27, 2012. He was born Sept. 22, 1927, son of Frances S. and Ruth (Bisco) Allen.
Ralph served in the U.S. Army during World War II in occupied Germany. Ralph will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband and father, for his love of the Lord, his many cars, his Harley Davidsons, his shooting skills, and fishing. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his daughters, Lois E. Rollins of Chesapeake, Va., and Rachel J. Holmes and husband, Tom, of Ellsworth; sons, Ralph E. Allen of Old Orchard Beach, and Timothy Allen and wife, Lisa, of Otis; granddaughters, Christy (Rollins) Renn, Michelle (Rollins) Woods and husband, Corey, of Chesapeake, Va., and Abbie Allen of Otis; grandsons, Anthony Carnrike and wife, Laura, of Chesapeake, Va., Jacob Oblin of Boston, Chad Woods, and Brad Allen, both of Otis; great-granddaughters, Adrianna Smith and Anayah Edge; great-grandsons, John Renn, Corey Woods and Gavin Edge of Chesapeake, Va.; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Ruth E. (Danico) Allen; and grandson, Ralph E. Allen III. The family thanks all the folks of Primary Health Care and Hospice who provided love and care to the very end.
