HAVERHILL, Mass. – Frank R. Ouellette Sr., 68, a former longtime Bradford resident, died Monday morning, May 21, 2012, at Merrimack Valley Hospital, Haverhill, Mass. He was born Jan. 17, 1944, in Beverly, Mass., son of the late Raymond and Frances (Thompson) Ouellette.
He was educated in the Beverly and Salem, Mass., school systems. Prior to moving to Haverhill, Mass., in 2010 he lived in Bradford for more than 31 years. While in Bradford he was a member of Hudson Baptist Church and Hermon Baptist Church. When he moved to Haverhill, Mass., he joined Lifeline Baptist Church, Haverhill, Mass. A self-employed master electrician for more than 40 years, Frank umpired softball games, and enjoyed bowling, hunting and fishing.
His survivors include his wife of 39 years, Janice (Welch) Ouellette of Haverhill, Mass.; five sons, Frank R. Ouellette Jr. and his wife, Penny, of Kingston, N.H., George Ouellette and his wife, Crystal, of Bradford, John Ouellette and his wife, Rochelle, of Fort Knox, Ky., Michael Ouellette of Bradford, and Christian Ouellette and his significant other, Jessica Taylor, of Carmel; three daughters, Joyce Denison of Newton, N.C., Donna Nelson and her husband, Brian, of Ocala, Fla., and Julie Parks of Bethlehem, Ga.; three brothers, Fred Ouellette of Seabrook, N.H., Gene Ouellette of Salisbury, Mass., and Raymond Ouellette of Merrimac, Mass.; 36 combined grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his stepfather, Arthur Portelance of Venice, Fla.; his stepmother, Doris Ouellette of Amesbury, Mass.; several nieces and nephews. Frank was the brother of the late Paul Ouellette.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his memorial service 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at Hudson Baptist Church, 2328 Hudson Road, Hudson.
