BRUNSWICK – Glen Clayton King, 48, died Monday, May 28, 2012, at Maine Medical Center, Portland. He was born April 28, 1964, in Fort Fairfield, the son of Beecher and Viola Lavoie King.

He graduated from Limestone High School in 1984 and the automotive program at Northern Maine Vocational Technical Institute in 1986. He married Teena Chick of Bridgton. He had been employed at Dominos Pizza, Limestone, Loring Service Station at Loring Air Force Base, Limestone, and G & M. Farms, Fort Fairfield. He loved NASCAR, Dale Earnhardt and Dale Jr., and was a fan of the Austin Theriault racing team of Fort Kent. He was an avid Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins and Patriots fan. He loved hunting, fishing and snowmobiling. His favorite season was fall. He loved the ocean, especially Land’s End and Portland Headlight.

He is survived by his wife, Teena of Brunswick; his children, Justin King of Van Buren and his partner, Aurora Porter, Barry King of Machias, Angela (Barker) Levesque and husband, Jason, of Brunswick and William Barker and his partner, Naomi Twigg, of Brunswick; siblings, Denise (King) Serenson and husband, William, of Dover, Del., and Gregory King of Derry, N.H.; grandchildren, Aden Hamel, Kaleb Hamel, Ketallei Twigg and Addie Levesque, all of Brunswick; and special friends, Keith LaBreck and Sandy Gagnon of Lewiston. He was predeceased by a brother, Barry Beecher King. Special thanks goes to Pediatric Cardiology and to all the staff of Maine Medical Center, especially those in SCU 2. Also to all of you who sent your prayers and best wishes. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 2, at Chandler Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, 45 Main St., South Paris. Family and friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
