TRENTON – Joseph “Joey” Loren White, 23, died May 27, 2012, in Trenton. He was born May 9, 1989, in Blue Hill, son of Karen E. Robidoux and Richard L. White.

Joey graduated from Mount Desert Island High School in 2007. He loved the ocean and especially enjoyed lobster fishing with his father. When he wasn’t working, he loved spending time with friends and caring for his tropical fish.

He is survived by his mother of Ellsworth; his father of Trenton; two brothers, Jon White and wife, Tara, of Ellsworth, and Rick White of Georgia; two sisters, Brenda Shelton and husband, Steve, of Ellsworth, and Morgan Ilika and husband, Josh, of Texas; paternal grandmother, Hazel Fox and husband, Arthur, of Trenton; maternal grandmother, Betty Robidoux of Ellsworth; maternal grandfather, Albert Robidoux of Waltham; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Loren “Sonny” White.

Visiting hours will be held 5:30-7 p.m. Friday, June 1, at Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin St., Ellsworth, where a funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, June 2. Interment will be at Woodbine Cemetery, Ellsworth.
