EAGLE LAKE and FORT KENT – Bertha A. Daigle, 94, died peacefully May 31, 2012, at an Eagle Lake health care facility. She was born March 25, 1918, in Daigle, the daughter of Firmin and Mary (Desjardins) Daigle.
She is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins; a very special friend, Cecile Fongemie; and special cousin, Irma Pelletier of Fort Kent.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday, June 8, at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Committal service will be afterward at Holy Family Cemetery, Daigle. Those who wish may donate in Bertha’s memory to Mercy Home activities fund, P.O. Box 310, Eagle Lake, ME 04739. Funeral services are being conducted by Daigle Funeral Home, 14 East Main St., Fort Kent.
