HOULTON – Ruth Duquette, 87, died June 2, 2012, in Houlton. She was born Nov. 17, 1924, in Northfield, Vt., the daughter of Herbert and Dora (Conley) Duquette.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary in Newport.
She is survived by three sons, Mike and Cecelia Brown of Houlton, Douglas and Sherry Brown of Clinton and Glen Brown of Littleton; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; one sister, Elizabeth Connley of Florida; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; two sons, Laurence and Herbert; and one brother, Ken.
Friends may call 9-9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton, until time to move to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
