ORONO, Maine — Police have released surveillance images of a man suspected of stealing beer from the Circle K store on Main Street around 8 p.m. Saturday, June 2.
“We haven’t been able to get anymore leads on it,” Officer Sarah Exley said in an email. “Several people said he looks like someone they have seen around, so we are hoping he is a local.”

Why do people try to steal things nowadays? There are cameras everywhere. You aren’t going to get away with it.

but many people have gone to rite aid for drug robberies and no photos etc. are available.

You are right! It just seems silly to me to steal something so small knowing what the consequences will be once he’s caught.

Is this really worth an article in the newspaper? Yes, stealing is wrong, but let’s save our efforts for something bigger than a $7 theft.
