NORTHPORT – Elizabeth Eldora Fay, 96, passed away June 20, 2012. Liz was born Nov. 30, 1915, in Framingham, Mass., daughter of the late George V. and Pauline Elizabeth (Fogg) Fay.
She is survived by no relatives, but many good friends.
Liz was an avid sportswoman, who loved to ski, hike, snowshoe, canoe and swim.
She earned her private pilot’s license and flew her own Piper Cherokee for many years. She loved animals and supported many local and national animal-related charities.
There will be a celebration of Liz’s life 4-6 p.m. Friday, June 29, at 6 Hassell Drive, Belfast. If you wish to remember Liz, please make a donation to the animal shelter of your choice. Care for Liz has been entrusted to Riposta Funeral Home, Belfast.
