SKOWHEGAN and DOVER-FOXCROFT – Michael Anthony “Tony” Dyer Jr., 46, died June 20, 2012, in Madison, as a result of a motorcycle accident.
He was born April 7, 1966, in Dover-Foxcroft, son of Michael A. and Cheryl (Veno) Dyer.
A graduate of Foxcroft Academy, Tony had been employed at Skowhegan Tire Co. for the last six years. He embraced life with a free and independent spirit. He was an avid outdoorsman, and particularly enjoyed fishing and hunting. Above all, he loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. His children will always remember the canoeing and fishing trips they took together throughout the years.
In addition to his parents of Dover-Foxcroft, he is survived by his loving partner, Leah Beckwith of Skowhegan; daughter, Brittany Tyler Dyer; son, Brandon Michael Dyer; son, Mitchel Jacob Beckwith; brother, John Dyer and wife, Briana, of Sebec, and their children, Nicholas and Blake Alexis; many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Tony will be remembered by dear friends, Robert and Roxy Prescott; and his lifelong friend, Mike Smith. He was predeceased by a special grandmother, Alice Veno.
