ELLSWORTH, Maine — Police have made another arrest that they say is connected to the arrests last week of a local businessman and woman for alleged drug trafficking.
Tyler R. Walker, 29, of Blue Hill was arrested Thursday at his parents’ home in Eddington on a charge of unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs, according to a statement released Friday morning by Maine Drug Enforcement Agency. The drug involved in Walker’s arrest is oxycodone, according to police.
It is the same charge that Patrick C. Jordan, 43, and Julie Edwards, 47, each were charged with on June 20 when the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency observed the duo participating in an alleged drug transaction in the parking lot of a High Street motel in Ellsworth. Police say that immediately following the transaction, they stopped Jordan and Edwards and in Jordan’s truck found 87 30-milligram oxycodone tablets, which have a total value of $3,500, and $4,495 in cash, which they said is believed to be the proceeds from the sale of drugs.
Jordan and Edwards each were arrested at the scene and later bailed out of Hancock County Jail in Ellsworth.
Police said in the statement that Walker’s arrest is “directly tied” to those of Edwards and Jordan, but they declined to release further details about what the connections might be.
Unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs is a class B felony crime, which carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison and a $20,000 fine.
Jordan is the president of R.F. Jordan & Sons, a local construction firm that employs approximately 60 people. In 2006, under his leadership, R.F. Jordan & Sons received the Top Drawer Award from the Ellsworth Area Chamber of Commerce. In 2009, Jordan and his wife gave $100,000 to Maine Coast Memorial Hospital in Ellsworth to put toward construction of its new emergency care facility.
Jordan also was serving as president of the board of directors of the James Russell Wiggins Downeast Family YMCA in Ellsworth at the time of his arrest. Earlier this week, Jordan released a statement indicating that is resigning from the YMCA board of directors because of the allegations.
MDEA indicated Friday in the statement that Walker was taken to Hancock County Jail, where he is being held on $1,000 bail.
Like Jordan and Edwards, Walker is scheduled to appear on the charge in Hancock County Superior Court on Sept. 18, 2012.

Ha, I went to high school with this guy
The party continues………now we can call them the three stooges……Oxy, Roxy, and Perk……Idiots
Don’t doctors hand stuff like this out all the time?
Almost like candy. There were times (late 90s) when I could introduce you to three generations of one family (all women, ages about 20 to 60, heavily prescribed … all for “back pain”). The 38-year old told me she was stealing and using her mom’s meds by age 8-9 and selling them by the time she was 11-12.
“like candy”
someone is singing like a canary….
Oh and its easy to figure out who is. Just look at the actual dates of arrest on the three mug shots. These sting operations take time to set up. Lets wait and see who is next. JUST SAYIN!
so you dont think that its possible one of the two suspects is now a rat and might be looking for a deal?
Oh I agree. Absolutely. In my Opinion that is exactly what is going on. The First arrest was April 01, 2012. The second was June 20, 2012 and then the one today. At least these are the ones that I currently know about. I was told there was another one Wednesday night in Ellsworth. However, I cant seem to find any info on that incident. That incident occurred at Pizza Hut in Ellsworth. The employees were def aware of a situation that occurred in their parking lot that evening though. Not sure if related or not.
It will be interesting to see what money can buy…
I have yet to comprehend the act of smiling in a mug shot. Even if I knew I were innocent and was in no danger of conviction or time, I WOULDN’T BE SMILING! It’s not a joke, you’re 29 yrs old and if convicted it doesn’t matter how much time you serve 1 day or 5 years the felony will be with you, till you die. Every job you apply for (should you decide to straighten up n fly right) they will overlook you even if you’re the most qualified. The felony will be like your skin. With you forever. Too young too much potential to be this frigged up, not a bad looking guy, but none of that will matter… But I’m sure you’ve heard this all before fell on deaf ears. Best of luck on being a productive member of society, we look forward to it….
he can become a flagger for lanes.
If you do not know this guy….Shut your mouth!!
NO
So you can be successful AND do drugs? Why are they illegal again? Government knows whats best for me….
Great Job MDEA. Keep up the GOOD work!!!!
