WASHBURN – James A. Aube, 51, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012, at his residence. He was born March 28, 1961, in Waterville, son of Arthur and Shirley (Giroux) Aube.
James worked for J.M. Huber as an electrician. He loved airplanes, building model airplanes and rockets. He also enjoyed gardening, canoeing, kayaking, snow sledding and four-wheeling; and all around outdoorsman. James was a master storyteller, who was very funny with a big heart, which will be missed by all.
In addition to his mother, Shirley, he leaves behind his wife, Melinda “Mindy” (Allen) Aube; daughter, Jessica Aube, both of Washburn; and sisters, Cynthia Aube Carter and husband, Colon, and their children, Ian and Hillary Carter, Diane Aube Ford and husband, Dennis, and Leslie Aube Nagy and husband, Paul, and their children, Lauren and Christopher Nichols. He will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Arthur Aube. The family expresses their thanks to their friends at J.M. Huber for their support.
Friends may call 12:30 p.m. until time of memorial service 2 p.m. Thursday, July 12, at State Road Advent Christian Church with the Rev. Greg Moody officiating.
