WINDHAM, Maine — A man is on the run from police after demanding drugs from a local pharmacy Saturday.
At 2:15 p.m., a man entered the Walgreens on Roosevelt Trail and demanded OxyContin from the pharmacy, according to a release from the Windham Police Department. The man did not display a gun and he fled in an unknown direction.
There were no injuries in the robbery and several patrons in the store were able to give accurate descriptions of the suspect involved, said the release. Cameras in the pharmacy documented the robbery.
The suspect is described as a white male between 5-foot-2 and 5-foot-4, wearing a ball cap, sunglasses and a black hooded sweatshirt.
Anyone with information is encouraged to call Detective Ray Williams at 892-2525.

He’s not running…he’s sitting somewhere high, having a few brews…..
I love my job as a pharm tech, but these days its not such a safe place to work…

Must be the “little” brother of the ususal 5’7 to 5’10 ball cap wearing, hooded pharamacy thief . Comb the middle schools, check the local parks and this rascal will be found. I’m surprised he could reach the counter. But rest assured….tongues will wag and this imp will be nabbed….probably from bragging on his Facebook page.
these people are walking into the drugstores and banks and demanding money and drugs and not showing any weapon ? Hmmmm… why are they being giving the items if not packing a weapon–I know there are policies in effect within the establishment about such issues but geeeesh this is getting to be a routine occurrence–maybe bank tellers and pharmacist should be required to take weapons classes and brandish 12 gauges or at the very least deal with people thru a small window behind closed bullet proof areas. Just getting so ridiculous.
Here is a scary thought. Let’s say that the Pharmacy robberies were stopped by whatever means. Would the dirt bags then follow the customers home or rob them in the parking lot? I’m thing yes.
