PORTLAND, Maine — Barry Miller makes music with strangers.
Set up in the shade of a tree on a spit of sidewalk between the Portland Museum of Art and Congress Square, the street musician and sound sculpture artist invites passers-by to pick up an instrument and play along wile he toots his saxophone.
There’s a bunch of percussion instruments to choose from including various shakers, drums and even a bell made from a cast aluminum cooking pot.
Several people stop to listen as his instant band plays a jazzy groove.

Sound sculpture got no comments.
