SENECA, S.C. – Albert Adams Berglind, 84, of 412 Rivercrest Drive, Seneca, S.C., husband of 63 years of Betty Drake Berglind, died Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at Oconee Memorial Hospital. A native of New Sweden, he was the son of the late John Richard and Esther Adamson Berglind.
He worked for Berce Potato Co., St. Agatha; United Aircraft, East Hartford, Conn.; Thomas Troy at Troy’s Mobile, West Hartford, Conn.; and Marion Oaks Country Club Golf Course, Ocala, Fla.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Berglind is survived by sons, Michael Berglind and wife, Peggy, of Palm Harbor, Fla., Larry Berglind and wife, Wenda, of Simpsonville, S.C., and Steven Berglind and wife, Annette, of Hebron, Md.; brother, Bernard Berglind and wife, Barbara, of Fairfax, Va.; 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Berglind was predeceased by his twin brother, Arthur Berglind; brother, Carl Berglind; and a great-grandson, Michael Robert Sacco.
Services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, July 27, at Oconee Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with entombment afterward. The family will receive friends prior to the service 12:30-2 p.m. Friday, July 27, at Oconee Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.
