Photo by Aislinn Sarnacki. A view from the second mountain of the loop hike ---looking back at the first mountain -- on Aug. 24, 2012.

Last Friday, I explored a loop hike that led over two mountains in Maine. Guess which two mountains by viewing the 15 photos below, which go in chronological order (except for the very first photo, which was taken near the end of the hike). If it looks like people are having a tough time with this one, I’ll leave some verbal hints in the comments below, but I think this is a fairly popular hike for local people and people from away.
