WATERVILLE, Maine — Two men who got into an altercation early Sunday morning wound up cooling off for the rest of the night in jail, according to police.
Waterville police had been sent to the area near the House of Pizza on Main Street around 1:45 a.m., according to Deputy Chief Charles Rumsey, and 10 men were mingling on the sidewalk in front of the establishment.
Two of them, Patrick Ruzibukra, 29, of Portland and Souphon Bulyaphol, 25, of Winslow, were fighting with each other, according to Rumsey, leading police to charge both with disorderly conduct.
Ruzibukra, however, did not go without a fight, according to Rumsey as he briefly resisted before police were able to handcuff him without the use of pepper spray or a Taser. He’s also facing a charge of refusing to submit to arrest.
Ruzibukra and Bulyaphol were booked into the Waterville police station and later released on bail.
