BRUNSWICK, Maine — Brunswick police are investigating the death of a 30-year-old man at a Merrymeeting Road home Friday night.
Deputy Chief Marc Hagan said police and Brunswick Rescue were called at 9:05 p.m. Friday for a report of a 30-year-old male in cardiac arrest. The man was declared dead at the scene.
There were people present at the time of the incident, Hagan said. The state medical examiner’s office will perform an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

30 years old. Sad. Heart problems has no age limits. Condolences to the families for your loss.
Where did it say it was heart problems? I guess I missed it.

Cardiac arrest simply means the heart has stopped beating effectively; the “cause of death” is what caused it to stop, and may not necessarily have anything to do with heart problems.
This is true, but the way the article was written, it made it seem as though there were heart problems.
Thank you sir. My mistake, Eyes aren’t what they use to be.
cardiac arrest = heart problems
Thanks. I guess I missed it.
Cardiac arrest can be caused by a history of heart problems. It can also be caused by an overdose of cocaine. I am not saying this is what happened, but absent any other information, it is a possibility.
