PRESQUE ISLE – Cecile Bragdon, 71, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at a Presque Isle hospital. She was born June 20, 1941, in Presque Isle, daughter of Levi and Yvonne (Guerrette) Beaulieu.
Cecile was a graduate of Presque Isle High School and Bernard’s School of Hair Design. She owned and operated Chez Cecile’s Beauty Shop for many years. She was an avid Red Sox fan. Cecile was a very compassionate person, always willing to help anyone who asked.
She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Bragdon of Presque Isle; two brothers and their wives, Robert and Carolyn Beaulieu of Mapleton, and Phil and Carol Beaulieu of Oregon; two sisters, Sue Hersey of Kenduskeag, and Lucille Hay and husband, William, of Presque Isle; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Clifford Bragdon; sister, Priscilla Condon; and two brothers, Clifford and Raymond Beaulieu.
Friends may call 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, where funeral services will begin 2 p.m. with the Rev. Raymond Morency officiating. Interment will be at St. Mary’s North Main Street Cemetery. A reception will be after the burial at the funeral home.
