TRENTON – With heavy hearts, we said goodbye to Robert Allen Alley, 54, Nov. 19, 2012, at a Bangor hospital. He was the son of Kendall L. and Edith S. (Gilley) Alley.
Robert was an avid Patriots fan and enjoyed watching the games and coaching from the comfort of his recliner. He loved his family. He worked with many people and places, including Murphy’s Service Station, Morang Robinson, Dave Gould Ford and Bob Davis Auto Repair, Bar Harbor. Robert served in the U.S. Army for four years.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Pamila (Ketchen) Alley of Trenton; father, Kendall L. Alley of Hancock; children, Sara Ann Alley of Bar Harbor, Carl Joseph and Carla Johaun Alley, both of Trenton; granddaughter, Melanie Jade Alley-Nicholls; brothers, Jeffrey Allen of Bushnell, Fla., and Scott Alley and wife, Judy; sister, Diane Alley; aunt, Janet Gilley and husband, Edward, all of Southwest Harbor; many loving friends and family.
A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 23, at Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin St., Ellsworth, with Pastor Bob Maddocks officiating. Interment will be at Leland Cemetery, Trenton. Condolences may be expressed at www.jordanfernald.com.
