ARUNDEL, Maine — An Arundel man has spent the weekend in jail after being arrested by Maine Drug Enforcement Agents Friday afternoon and charged with trafficking in crack cocaine.
Christopher W. Carbone, 30, of 192 New Road in Arundel also is being held for violation of his probation for a previous drug conviction of selling oxycodone, according to Maine Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland.
Drug agents, assisted by Maine State Police, stopped Carbone’s car in the parking lot of a Biddeford convenience store Friday. A search of the vehicle allegedly found crack cocaine and a search of his house found heroin and $3,400 in cash. The street value of the crack and heroin was about $1,500, according to a press release.

Probation really taught him a lesson.
It must’ve. No oxys this time.
Probation was just an opportunity for him to get back to his peddleing…
Everyone has to make a living.
I think the money should be returned to Mr. Carbone.
It was probably his xmas money for the kids or the needy.
Wrong time of year for the cops to take his money for no reason.
Where’d he go to school? He probably still services his “budds”.
Obviously the economy hasn’t hit the drug trade too bad.
Put this boy away!
That’s my uncle, he’s not a bad guy, matter of fact he owns his own paving business and has a young daughter
Minus selling crack and heroin?
He’s my uncle so I’ll defend him to the fullest, just like anyone else would too. Nobody’s perfect & sometimes you slip up.
NO BODY family or otherwise should defends any drug dealer; and you should not either, because it is wrong!! These people are the scourge of the earth, helping ruin addicts lives and destroying families of the addicts, and people that surround them!!!
instead of spending your time defending a man that has been given a chance and blew it…why don’t you spend your time with his daughter. Sounds like she needs to be out of that house and away from her parents as often as humanly possible! What kind of father endangers his daughters life by having these drugs in the house? What kind of father sells drugs that could kill people? What kind of father is willing to go to jail and leave his daughter without a father….he sounds selfish, puts his own needs before his daughters. What a bad example of a parent he is! She will be better off if he is in jail…then he can’t be a bad influence on her and he can’t endanger her life if he’s not there.
So if your Uncles daughter gets hold of some of this crap and ends up in the hospital or dies…will you STILL defend his illegal behavior? He is a bum and for you to defend his actions makes me worry for your future. I hope you are smarter than him…I would hate to think of you spending your life in and out of jail like he will.
MDEA and State police just happened to stop this fella in a convenience store parking lot, eh? Hanging around Jiffy Mart, 6 or 8 of them maybe, and decided to jack-up Carbone when he drove by.– what a lucky day for those guys, wow! Hey, maybe it’s some kind of cop ESP. Nah, dude was set-up like a bowling pin — either the cops watched him make a few stops or somebody gave him up to beat their own cases. Notice there was no info about all that?
The Carbone unit belongs in jail, clear thinking and rational behavior don’t appear to register with the guy. Give him a 7 to 10 to get the basic idea, and a 3 to 5 on top to make sure it sinks in…And another one bites the dust.
