OWLS HEAD – Evelyn B. Eilers, 92, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at her home from complications of a stroke she suffered in May.
Friends and relatives are invited to visit 4-6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock St., Rockland. A graveside committal service will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Oak Hill Cemetery, Hosmer Pond Road, Camden, with the Rev. Seth D. Jones officiating. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, at Rockland Congregational Church, 180 Limerock St. A reception will be in the church’s Kimball Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Abiding Memorial Fund, Rockland Congregational Church, P.O. Box 554, Rockland, ME 04841.
