MANSET – Edna M. Jellison, 100, died peacefully Dec. 25, 2012. She was born Sept. 25, 1912, in Seawall, to George B. and Ann (Muise) Dolliver.
Edna graduated from Pemetic High School in 1930. She was a member of Manset Union Church, where she served as the treasurer and taught Sunday school many years ago. Edna retired from Jackson Laboratory and also worked in several summer cottages in the area.
She is survived by one son, George M. Jellison Sr.; good friend, Ruth K. Jellison; grandson, George M. Jellison Jr. and friend, Anna Silver; granddaughter, Aimee Williams and husband, Paul; a sister, Dorothy D. Jellison; a brother, Clarernce A. Dolliver; four great-grandsons, one great-great grandson, one great-great-granddaughter, many special nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at Manset Union Church, 192 Seawall Road, Southwest Harbor. Interment will be at Mount Height Cemetery, Southwest Harbor.
