HOULTON – Robert C. Nason, 72, went peacefully in his sleep Jan. 1, 2013, at his home. He was born Jan. 21, 1940, in Houlton, the son of Willis and Doris (Taylor) Nason.
Robert served in the National Guard and was employed for many years at Ward Cabin. He was a member of Christian Missionary Alliance and Houlton Wesleyan Church. He was a loving husband, great dad and loving grandfather.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Velma (Sennett) Nason; his children, Ronald Nason, Vickie Williams and her husband, Todd, Robert Nason Jr. and his wife, Daphne, Willis Nason and his wife, Kimberly, and Karen Kohles and her husband, Glenn; nine grandchildren, Keith, Melissa, Elaine, Angela, Willis, Crystal, Patrik, Grace and Jillian; five great-grandchildren, Jennifer, McKenna, Krystina, Owen and Samantha; brothers and sisters, Philip Nason, Janice Hastey, Shirley Nason, Gerry Nason, Ruth Ercolani, Leigh Nason, David Nason, Donna McAfee and Willissa Conover; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; his brother, Dickey; and his great-granddaughter, Allison.
