SANGERVILLE – Margaret Jeannie Curtis, 49, died unexpectedly Jan. 16, 2013, at her residence. She was born July 20, 1963, at Wilfred Hall Hospital, San Antonio, to Mathias J. and Margaret (Edgerly) Poulin.
Jeannie moved to Maine with her parents and brother in 1965 after her father retired from the U.S. Air Force. She graduated from Piscataquis Community High School, Guilford, and joined the U.S. Air Force. After her discharge from the Air Force, she attended Husson College, Bangor, and graduated at the top of her class as a registered nurse. At the time of her death she was an intensive care nurse at Mayo Regional Hospital, Dover-Foxcroft.
Jeannie is survived by her son, Lukas Schneider; her daughter, Mariah Schneider; her brother, Mathias C. Poulin and his wife, Candron; and a niece, Emily Rose and her husband, Ben, and their daughters, Cassandra and Morgan. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Curtis.
A graveside memorial service will be held in the spring in the family lot at Townhouse Cemetery, Sangerville. Arrangements are in the care of Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft. Messages of condolence and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
