STOCKHOLM – James Allen McCabe passed away March 2, 2013, surrounded by his family at the old farm house he loved in Stockholm. Jim was born in New Jersey, to Thelma Pearl Kinnie and Milton Joseph McCabe.
Jim was in the Navy during World War II. He was one of six kids, who had many adventures with his brother and sisters. He was an avid outdoors man taking his last moose and deer in 2005 with his grandson, Dakota. He will be sadly missed by everyone who came in touch with him.
Jim was predeceased by one daughter, two grandsons and three sisters. He is survived by 10 children, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, one brother and two sisters. His favorite prayer was, “Three biscuits for the four of us, hope to God there is no more of us.”
