GREENBUSH AND TEMPLE, TEXAS – Mary Joyce McKenney, 79, wife of the late Forest McKenney, died March 19, 2013, at a Lincoln health care facility. She was born Oct. 2, 1933, in Rogers, Texas, daughter of Lee and Mary (MacDaniel) Sheppard. Mary loved music and enjoyed playing guitar, singing and yodeling.
She is survived by four sons, Richard Faloon, Allen Faloon and Lorraine, Justin Faloon, and Jonathan McKenney and Candace; daughter, Wendy Fields and David; brother, Alton Sheppard; three stepchildren, Fred McKenney, Greg McKenney and Linda Thibodeau; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 22, at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. John Cutler officiating.
