BANGOR AND GREENVILLE – Jim Gartley, 63, died Sunday, March 31, 2013, at a Bangor hospital. Jim was born in Greenville, son of Gerald and Minnie Lee Gartley.
He graduated from Greenville High School and completed some course work at Florida State University. Jim was a kind and gentle man who lived most of his life in Bangor. Jim will be missed by his family and friends.
Jim is survived by his brother, Mark Gartley of Raymond; and longtime companion, Linda Austin of Bangor.
A graveside service will be held in June in Greenville, and will be coordinated by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, Guilford.
