SCARBOROUGH – Glenna Iona (Archer) Sinclair, 88, went to be with the Lord on April 6, 2013 at Gosnell House, Scarborough. She was born June 30, 1924, in Fairfield, the daughter of Asa and Eva Ireland Archer.
She was a member of Hermon Baptist Church, where in her early years she enjoyed being in the choir, being a Sunday school teacher and spending time with her many church friends. She enjoyed shopping and having lunch with “the girls.”
Glenna was predeceased by her husband, Alton F. Sinclair Sr. in 1988; daughter, Lou Anna Sawyer in 1990; and grandson, Michael Sinclair in 2003. Surviving are her children and their families, Glenys Carrigan, Douglas Sr., Alton Jr., Diana Stather and Donald Jr.;17 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
