BANGOR – Richmond Bracy, 81, husband of the late Vivian (Dunton) Bracy, passed away May 16, 2013, at a local nursing home. He was born Feb. 26, 1932, in Franklin, to Hildred (Bradbury) Bracy and Orris Bracy.
Richmond grew up in Bangor and graduated from Bangor High School in 1950. He worked for Viner’s Shoe before starting Bracy’s Plumbing.
He leaves behind his daughter, Michelle (Bracy) Wos and husband, David, of Gilbert, Ariz.; sister, Judy Brown and husband, Raymond; brother, Norman Bracy and wife, Nona of North Carolina; and sister-in-law, Ruth Bracy. He also leaves behind special friends, Frank and Torrie Tardiff and Owen Monday; high school friend, Helene (Trenholm) Wright; and nieces and nephews. Along with his wife he was predeceased by his brother, Karl Bracy; and sister, Wanda Emerson.
