STACYVILLE – Beverley Ann (Guiggey) Moody, loving wife and mother went home to be with the Lord, May 16, 2013. She was born Dec. 15, 1933, in Siberia, daughter of Sandy Guiggey and Florence (McNally) Guiggey of Stacyville.
Beverley is survived by husband and best friend of 52 years, Gary H. Moody; daughter, Jeannine Beverley Cyr and husband, Ricky, of Moro Plantation and their children, Dustin, Sammy, Dani Beth and Amy Cameron and her husband, Fred; daughter, Danette Moody Kay and husband, David, of Patten and their children, Burton, Jasmine and husband, Jeff, Nathen, Andrew, Matthew, Cara, Daniel, Bailee and Eden; and son, Nathan Moody of Stacyville. Bev also left behind great-grandchildren, Rhianna, Freddie, Rylee, Mason and Landon; sisters, Margaret Duffy and Sylvia Lilley and husband, Freddy; and sister-in-law, Pat Guiggey. Beverley was predeceased by brothers, Howard, Samuel, James “Buster” and Ronney Guiggey; and was also by special grandson, Logan.
She loved her time as a member of the choir at St. Joseph’s Church and as a member of Katahdin Area Prayer Group. Beverley loved her family, many relatives and all of her many special friends. She was a beautiful woman, inside and out, and was loved by so many. A special thanks to her two wonderful caregivers, Fonda and Jan.
All are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian burial 1 p.m. Thursday, May 23, at St. Benedict’s Church, Benedicta, with Deacon Dan Watson officiating.
