MADAWASKA – Steven Sirois, 49, died unexpectedly Saturday, May 25, 2013, at his home. He was born May 12, 1964, in Fort Kent, son of Rosaire Sirois and Dorothy Churchill.
Steven grew up in Frenchville and was a graduate of Wisdom High School, class of 1982. He was an experienced carpenter by trade, but spent some of his happiest moments snowmobiling and riding his Harley Davidson.
He is survived by his son, Nicholas Sirois, 21, of Madawaska; and his mother, Dorothy (Sirois) and husband, Colby Churchill, of Frenchville; brother, Ronald Sirois and wife, Brenda, of Frenchville; sisters, Helen and husband, Lloyd Fortin, of Grand Isle and Karen and husband, Albert Ouellette, of St. David; and many nieces, nephews, great-nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Rosaire Sirois; and brother, Mark Sirois.
A service to celebrate Steve’s life will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, June 1, at The Family Worship Assembly, 1116 Main St., St. David, by Pastor Dale Nason. Family and friends are invited to visit with the family 9-10 a.m. June 1, at The Family Worship Assembly. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alcoholics Anonymous, AA, in memory of Steven T.
