PENOBSCOT – Loretta P. Rancourt, 64, died June 7, 2013 at her home. She was born Oct. 29, 1948, in San Diego, a daughter of David A. and Catherine (Jankura) Phoenix.
She worked for 28 years for Lewis & Malm Architects in Bucksport. Loretta was a member of Pine Tree Quilting Guild, of Hampden and Maine Quilting Guild.
She is survived by her parents of Woodstock, Conn.; sons, Eric Gingerella and wife, Brooke, of Penobscot, Sherman Gingerella and wife, Tere, of California; three grandchildren, Clarissa, Dylan and Lauren; stepchildren, Mike, Kenny, Margo, Joy, Jeane and Robin; brothers, David and Paul Phoenix; and sister, Nancy Phoenix. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Rancourt in 2008.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, June 17, at Bayside Cemetery, Penobscot. A celebration of life will be at her home at 715 North Penobscot Road, Penobscot.
