MADAWASKA – Norman J. Bouchard, 88, passed away June 10, 2013, at a Madawaska health care facility. He was born April 28, 1925, in Grand Isle, son of the late Benjamin and Eva (Picard) Bouchard.
He is survived by three daughters, Janice Plourde and husband, Etienne, of St. Joseph, New Brunswick, Karen Greig and husband, Robert, of Augusta, and Sharon Philbrook and husband, Steve, of Augusta; son, Michael Bouchard and wife, Danielle, of Madawaska; four grandchildren, Steve, Benjamin, Robert, and Kelly; three great-grandchildren, Kloe, Roxanne and Owen; four sisters, Therese Sirois of Caribou, Sister Cecile Bouchard of Sherbrook, Quebec, Fernande Lavoie of Connecticut, and Gertrude Wingate of Ohio; four brothers, Gilman of Westbrook, Lionel of Washington state, Joel of Colorado, and Robert of California; and many nieces and nephews. Norman is predeceased by his wife, Anita (Bouchard) Bouchard in 1992; sister, Gilberte Gosselin; and brother, Bertrand Bouchard.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 1 p.m. Friday, June 14, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. As per Norman’s request there will be no visiting hours.
