OLD TOWN – Thale H. Brackett Jr., 38 died peacefully in his sleep June 15, 2013. He was born May 25, 1975, in Lincoln, a son of Thale H. Sr. and Cynthia (Ward) Brackett.
Thale enjoyed time spent with his family and he was a very loving and supportive husband and father who was immensely proud of his girls. He had a dry sense of humor and could make you laugh by only saying two words. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed four-wheeling, camping, hunting, fishing and boating. Thale was employed as a lineman for NextGen Telecom. He had a close, tight knit group of friends that he grew up with and worked with. Growing up, as the youngest of four children, he was very much loved by his three older sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Jenny L. (Robbins) Brackett; two daughters, Faith and Abby; his constant canine companion, Charlie; his mother, Cynthia Brackett of LaGrange; three sisters, Roxanne Stewart and her husband, Bradley, of Lincoln, Dianne Cook and her husband, Gerard, of Connecticut, and Leanne Gerrish and her husband, Rick, of Milo; aunts, Dot Gerrish and Belinda Shepard; uncles, Mike King and John Brackett, special niece, Crystal Brackett; and many extended family members. He was predeceased by his father, Thale H. Brackett Sr.; mother-in-law, Jean Bouchard; uncle, Richard Brackett; and best friend, JJ French.
Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town, where a funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery, LaGrange.
