FRYEBURG – Grover Lloyd died Friday, July 12, 2013, at his home, with his family at his side. He was the oldest child of Lorenzo and Laura Bolstridge Colson, and was born Feb. 28, 1940, in Fort Fairfield.
He loved his job as a hard wood lumber inspector traveling from mill to mill throughout the northeast. After his retirement, he worked at Hannaford, North Conway, N.H. Lloyd looked forward to his morning coffee with Donnie Emery.
He was predeceased by sister, Mary Looney; and brother, Frank Colson. He is survived by his wife, Lois Emery Lloyd of Fryeburg; son, Greg and wife, Kelly Lloyd, and their son, Brady; daughter, Gora Henley and daughter, Amanda; son, A. Mark Mallett and family of Mount Pleasant, S.C; Jay Mallett and family of Fryeburg; Lynne Parker and family of Fryeburg; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara McCarel of Fort Wayne, Ind.; and nieces and nephews.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fryeburg Rescue, P.O.
