ENFIELD – Vaughn Carlton McKinnon, 86, passed away Aug. 8, 2013, at his home on Cold Stream Pond in Enfield with his wife, Linda, at his side. He was born Sept. 25, 1926, in Howland.
Vaughn McKinnon was predeceased by his mother, Leola Walsh; his father, John McKinnon; two brothers, William Derwood McKinnon and Clyde Melvin McKinnon; his first wife, Katherine McKinnon; and two great-grandchildren, Leisel Olson and Cameron Seile. He is survived by his wife, Linda McKinnon; stepchildren, Tracy Hazzard, Scott Washburn and Joel Washburn; and his brother, John Arnold McKinnon with wife, Anita. Also surviving are four children with first wife, Katherine, Kathy June Grant with husband, Phil, Helen McKinnon with partner, Tom Libby, Clyde McKinnon with wife, Susan, and Lorelei McKinnon with husband, Rolf; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind a special grandson who he raised as his own, Brandon Summerson.
Per his wish he is being cremated with no services. A celebration of his life will be held later with family.
