BANGOR – John A. McLeod, 83, passed away Aug. 15, 2013, at his residence, after a battle with cancer. He was born Oct. 12, 1929, in Boston, to Kenneth and Lillian (Brown) McLeod.
John attended Bangor schools growing up. He was a member of the National Guard and he worked for Western Union. He was married to Gloria Susey for many years and they had one daughter, Cheryle.
Along with his parents, John was predeceased by his wife, Gloria; and daughter, Cheryle. He is survived by three brothers, Kenneth, Bill and Dick all of Bangor.
There will be no service. Burial will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery.
