ST ALBANS, Vt. – Brenda Joyce Lutz, 50, died Sept. 11, 2013, at a Burlington hospital following a long illness. She was born Jan. 22, 1963, in the Navy Hospital, Patuxent River, Md. She attended schools in Hermon and Bangor.
She is survived by her mother, Evelyn M. Lutz and stepfather, Gerald M. Palmer of Hermon; brothers, Russell Lutz and wife, Debra Leggett, of Avon, Mass., and William Lutz and wife, Shirley, of Milton, Fla.; sister, Nancy Scott of Erie, Pa.; a niece, Jennifer and Nathan Spencer and their son, Eli of Raleigh, N.C.; aunts and many cousins in Pennsylvania, Indiana and Arizona; as well her stepfather’s family, Gerry GM Palmer Jr., Catherine Palmer, and Christine Palmer, and their spouses and children. Brenda was predeceased by her father, CPO Harold C. Lutz USN Retired; uncles, Ernest Kephart, Kenneth Kephart, and Leroy Allen; and cousin, Lisa Allen.
