BANGOR and BUCKSPORT – Crystal A. (Green) Simpson, 55, went to join her parents, Mary and Richard Green, in heaven, on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013, after complications from heart surgery. She was born on March 22, 1958.
Crystal was an amazing cook, who cooked everything from memory. Crystal enjoyed shopping and spoiling her grandchildren. She had a passion for reading and watching her huge DVD collection.
Crystal is survived by her loving son, Jamie Bowden and his wife, Amie; as well as her “grandbabies,” Paige and Peyton. She also leaves behind her sister, Marjorie; brothers, Ricky and Buddy; as well has her lifelong friend, Berta Costigan and their families.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21, at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Ohio Street, Bangor. Arrangements are under the direction of Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home www.mitchelltweedie-young.com.
