ABBOT – Wilbur (Bud) J. and Marlan E. Landry, after 65 years of marriage, passed away respectively on August 29 and October 29, 2013.
Wilbur was an avid sportsman, staunch second amendment proponent, and lifetime NRA member, proudly served our country as a merchant marine in WWII. Marlan, a homemaker, was an avid reader and enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and traveling.
Wilbur was predeceased by his parents, Wilbur J. and Bernadette (Martin) Landry. Marlan was predeceased by her parents, Elwood and Elizabeth (O’Rourke) Crafts. They were predeceased by their daughter, Joann; sister, Helen Bletz; and sister-in-law, Muriel Landry. Wilbur and Marlan are survived by a son, Alan and his wife, Judy; daughters, Karen, and Judy and her husband, Jeff; 7 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Wilbur leaves a brother, John (Jack) Landry; and sisters, Janice Edwards, Bernadette Parillo, and Trudy and her husband Art Kolbenschlag.
