ORONO – Herbert W. LeBreton Sr., 60, died unexpectedly Nov. 5, 2013. He was born July 17, 1953, in Bangor, a son of Raymond N. and Allison O. (Hutchins) LeBreton.
Herb was known for being generous and always helping in any way possible. He was hardworking and dedicated to his job and company, having worked his entire life for Twin Town Rendering which became Baker Commodities where he was currently a Branch Manager. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. Herb cherished his family times and enjoyed taking the grandkids fishing and camping. Herb was a member of the National Rifle Association and the National Wildlife Turkey Federation. He enjoyed making business deals with his son, Herb Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Patty of 42 years; a son, Herb LeBreton Jr., and his children, Alexis, Kallie, and Braedon LeBreton; daughter, Stacie LeBreton Mitchell and husband, Jason, with sons, Dylan Dewley, and Cameron Mitchell; two brothers, Andy LeBreton and Paul Petrie and wife, Monica; sister-in-law, Chris LeBreton; several nieces and nephews; and many close friends and special hunting and fishing buddies, including Rick Dionne . He was predeceased by his parents; a special uncle, Bob Shorey; a special nephew, Jason Dobson; a special friend, Hollis Cox; and close friend from “Upta” camp, Philip Harding.
Friends may call 1-3 p.m. Saturday, at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town, where a funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday.
