HOLLIS, Maine — Two men were arrested in connection with a stabbing on Thursday night in Hollis, according to police.

John Siciliani, 27, of Bridgton and Todd Thomas, 44, of Standish are both facing multiple charges, according to Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland.

Troopers went to a residence on Chadbourne Ridge Road after it was reported two drunken intruders had confronted residents, according to McCausland.

The suspects then started fighting with each other, resulting in one resident being stabbed in the leg, the spokesman said.

The resident, whose name was not released, is being treated for a stab wound at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

Thomas was taken into custody after he was treated at a Sanford hospital, and charged with assault and violating conditions of release, McCausland said.

Siciliani was located at a Hollis convenience store and taken into custody at gunpoint, McCausland said. A box cutter believed to be the stabbing weapon was recovered. He was charged with aggravated assault, criminal threatening and criminal mischief.

Both men are being held at the York County Jail. McCausland said both have lengthy criminal records.
