LEVANT – Virginia A. “Ginny” Hildebrandt, 64, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013, at a Bangor hospital. She was born June 18, 1949, in Cranston, R.I., the daughter of Herbert Marshall and Virginia (Parkinson) Adams Jr.
Ginny worked as a clerical typist and secretary for DOD Service in Europe and at various Air Force bases in the United States, as well as clerk typist and payroll clerk for a local accounting firm C.H. Dorr. When her husband Garnet was stationed overseas in Europe, she took the opportunity to tour much of Europe.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Garnet Malcolm Hildebrandt of Levant; two sons, Scott K. Hildebrandt and his wife, Carol, and their son, Alexander, all of St. Agatha, and Brent A. Hildebrandt of Levant; a sister, Phyllis I. (Adams) Brown; three brothers, Larnard, Paul, and Dale Adams; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Herbert M. Adams.
