KENDUSKEAG – John H. Roach Sr., 64, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, at a Bangor health care center. He was born May 3, 1949, in Bangor, the son of the late James and Lauraine Roach.
John was a hard worker and retired from Union Local No. 4 after 26 years of operating heavy equipment with Lane Construction. He was a member of the Bangor Elks Lodge No. 244, and enjoyed NASCAR and Speedway 95.
He is survived by his wife Deborah D. Roach; three children, Alicia, Tina, and John Jr; two stepchildren, Vicki and Michael; six grandchildren, Cody, Amber, D.C., Devin, Haley and Noelle; stepgrandchildren, Justin, James, and Gage; great-grandchildren, Jordan, and Jude; a sister, Donna Goodine; a nephew, Christopher; and nieces, Melanie and Erica.
