COLUMBUS – James A. “Big Foot” Condon, 64, of Columbus, Ga., passed away Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013, at Columbus Hospice, Columbus, Ga., after a long illness.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, at Community Chapel, Pine Mountain Valley, Ga.
James was born July 9, 1949 in Presque Isle, the son of the late Clayton Condon and Jean Condon. He was predeceased by his father, Clayton Condon; son, Jimmy Condon; and grandson, Joey Holder.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Nancy Condon of Columbus, Ga.; mother, Jean Condon of Columbus, Ga.; three sons and their wives, Aaron and Kim Condon of Fortson, Ga., Michael and Marchelle Condon of Pine Mountain, Ga., and Chris and Tracie Condon of Columbus, Ga.; sister, Cindy and Curtis Meisenheimer of Uniontown, Ala.; brother, Greg and Margo Condon of Levant; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
