EDDINGTON – Our Beloved Mother, Grandmother and friend, Margaret M. (Hodgins) White passed to be with our beloved Lord on Dec. 13, 2013, after a long battle with cancer. She was born on June 24, 1938, in Lincoln.
She graduated from Brewer High School. She was a care giver to many and worked for many years interior decorating. She volunteered many hours to Veterans of Foreign Wars. Peg’s favorite pastime was Bingo.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Elden White; sons, Elden White Jr., and David White; her parents, Bernard and Doris (Cummings) Hodgins; sons-in-law, Henry Burns and Richard Hammond; and brother, Dalton Hodgins. She is survived by daughter, Karen Burns of Bangor, Dawna and Cecil Woodward of Bangor, and Debra Hammond of Holden; sons, Bruce and Debbie More of Dale and Ellen White of Eddington, Gary and Jen White of Brewer, Steven and Rhonda White of Milford, and Kevin and Lynn White of Milford; many beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and special family member, Rebecca Jones. She will be remembered fondly by friends and family.
Graveside services will be in the spring at Mount Hope Cemetery.
