MACHIAS – Sheila A.
Sprowl, 67, wife of
Dennis O. Sprowl entered
into eternal rest
December 14, 2013,
surrounded by three
generations of family.
She was born in Machias
on July 15, 1946, the
daughter of William, Sr.
and Edith(Chandler)
Prescott. Sheila was a
graduate of Machias
Memorial High School
and an avid sports fan.
She will be remembered
as a New England
Patriots fanatic. She
was often seen in the
bleachers or at one
of the ball fields
cheering on her grand-
children. Besides her
husband of Machias, she
is survived by two
daughters, Denise L.
Rothlauf and her
husband Kirk of
Machias, Tonya L.
Beal and her wife
Hermena of Machias;
one son Sherwood
(Bud) F.W. Sprowl and
his wife Alicia of Machias;
three brothers William A.
Prescott Jr., Harold A.
Prescott Sr., Arthur M.
Prescott; two sisters,
Joan E. Guerra, Stacey
P. Spencer; 10 grand-
children, Kala, Crysta,
Bryce, Tyler, Alexis,
Jean, Tyler, Brystin,
Desaraye, Payge; 1
great grandchild, many
nieces, nephews, cousins
and friends. She was pre-
deceased by her mother
in 1983 and her father
in 1989. In lieu of flowers,
