WATERVILLE, Maine — Drug agents served three search warrants Friday morning at two central Maine locations as part of a methamphetamine manufacturing investigation.
According to State Police spokesman Stephen McCausland, two warrants were executed at a Center Street residence in Oakland and another at the Fireside Inn in Waterville.
The operation resulted in the arrest of six individuals, according to the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency.
A wing of the hotel was evacuated, McCausland said, and a vehicle in Skowhegan was seized for evidence. Evidence of methamphetamine manufacturing was discovered in a motel room.
Arrested were: Eric Finnemore, 35, of Linneus; Christopher McEachern, 27, of Oakland; Corey Stevens, 22, of Oakland; James Bell, 43, of Oakland; Katherine Tibbets, 48, of Oakland; and Rachel Wolfe, 26, of Oakland, the MDEA said.
Finnemore is charged with trafficking and manufacturing methamphetamine; McEachern and Stevens with trafficking and possession of methamphetamine; Bell and Tibbetts with trafficking methamphetamine and Wolfe with possession of methamphetamine.
The warrants were part of a two-month investigation into methamphetamine manufacturing. Drug agents were assisted by state and local police and Kennebec County sheriff’s office.
The six suspects are at the Kennebec County Jail.
