SILVER RIDGE TOWNSHIP, Maine — Two drivers suffered minor injuries Saturday morning when their vehicles collided on Pond Road, according to police.

Brian Fuller, 33, of Kenduskeag was driving a 2004 Dodge car east on the road when he lost control of the vehicle in slush and snow while rounding a corner, Maine State Police indicated in a news release. The car slid into the path of a 2011 Ford pickup truck coming in the opposite direction.

The truck, driven by Waldo Archer, 45, of Enfield collided with Fuller’s vehicle head-on, police indicated. Both men suffered minor injuries not specified in the release. The vehicles had significant damage and were towed from the scene.

Further information was unavailable late Saturday afternoon.
